ENACOM in Argentina has recently released an update for the SRD testing standard which replaces the current standard.

Eleos have been made aware of upcoming changes being discussed by the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology (MTIT) in Yemen relating to the type approval process. Eleos have been informed of several significant changes in Type Approval Regulations which will influence all running projects as well as future projects.

The Vietnamese Regulator, MIC, have issued a draft Circular to replace 11/2020/TT-BTTTT and 01/2021/TT-BTTTT, which outlines new products requiring Type Approval and Declaration of Conformity. The new Circular will be in force from 01 July 2022.

Ivorian regulator, have advised stricter adherence to ARTCI regulations mandating that one as-sold sample should now be provided for all type approval applications, in line with Article 9 of the ARTCI regulations and Article 7 of annexure IV of the type approval form.

MCMC have issued Class Assignment No. 1 of 2022, dated 19th January 2022. This now includes the frequency band 5925 - 6425 MHz for SRD, such as Wi-Fi 6E, therefore products operating in this frequency band can now be certified in Malaysia.
