RATEL implements amendments to Radio Frequency Bands Allocation Plan effective from 12 April 2025. The Radio Frequency Bands Allocation Plan determines the allocation of radio frequency bands for certain radio communication services, in accordance with the ITU Radio Regulations, relevant international treaties, agreements, international legal acts and recommendations, as well as relevant regulations of the European Union.
On 25 December 2024, RATEL (Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications) advised that it will stop issuing Type Approval certificates from 01-January 2025. It will therefore continue to supervise other accredited certification bodies in Type Approval certificates processing and issuance.
Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services in Republic of Serbia published two rulebooks which have been adopted from 15 November 2024. One concerting security on communication networks and another one on radio frequency spectrum allocation.
RATEL in Serbia have issued a new Rulebook on Radio Equipment
Official Gazette of RS, No. 9/24 of February 5, 2024, establishes the new RF band allocation which came in to force on 13th February 2024.
This is a kind reminder to all manufacturers and importers that Serbian EMC and Safety certificates will become voluntary from 01.01.2022.
