21-NOV-25

Following our continued engagement with the regulator, we have received formal confirmation that the regulator is now fully enforcing several key requirements introduced under updated Type Approval Regulations  and its subsequent implementation Decision recently released.

The regulator particularly emphasized that three areas are subject to strict and systematic application:
  • Sample submission requirements, with particular focus on terminal devices that must undergo physical evaluation
  • Demonstration of Data-protection and information-security obligations
  • Mandatory type-approval labeling

These measures are being applied uniformly to both new applications and those already under review, requiring all applicants to comply with the updated framework.
