SDPPI update accredited laboratory lists for HKT and non-HKT Devices

Indonesian Regulator - Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI) – has updated the accredited laboratories list whereby a paperwork Type Approval application process can be followed. This updated list is in force as of 23rd July 2020 and will remain in force until 23rd January 2021.

The list can be found online on SDPPI’s website, showing labs are currently accredited for HKT and non-HKT products is here. HKT devices are categorisred as cell phones, handheld computers, computer tablets, with and all other equipment categories classed as non-HKT devices. There are now 16 labs on the HKT list and 72 labs on the non-HKT list.

By way of reminder, a paperwork-only approach for applications to SDPPI is currently permitted for all devices if all test reports are from an SDPPI-accredited laboratory. In any other case, local testing is required.
