The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), has extended exemptions from submitting test reports for certain Essential Requirement (ER) parameters under MTCTE.
Key Points:
- - Exemption valid until 31 December 2025 or until further notice.
- Applies to:
- - Cellular CPE – DHCP client (v4/v6) as per RFC 7341 / RFC 8415.
- - Satellite Equipment – Transmit power as per DoT/WPC license conditions.
Follows earlier circular dated on 26 June 2025.
All other MTCTE requirements remain unchanged.
