The Utility Regulation and Competition Office (Ofreg) has issued new guidelines for the operation of Wireless LAN (WiFi) services in the Cayman Islands. The guidelines provide relevant technical and operating information for the use of these services in the region.

The document contains a table outlining the frequency ranges within which Wireless LAN equipment may be operated. It also references the technical and operating parameters of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the European Union (EU) that must be adhered to for equipment carrying their respective approval marks.
