Republic of Moldova and the European Union have initiated the negotiation process for accession to the European Community. Thus, based on the results of the bilateral screening, amendments were made to the Law 235/2011 regarding the accreditation and conformity assessment activities. The amendments were published in the Official Journal of Republic of Moldova on 28 August 2025 and enter into force on 28 February 2026.
