China's MIIT published a notice on IPv6 testing requirements for WLAN devices in relation to SRRC Type Approval process.
The China National Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA) has announced the issuance of a revised product certification catalogue, consisting of 16 categories and 96 sub-categories, in response to adjustments in compulsory certification and testing. This replaces the previous version issued in 2020 by the State Administration for Market Regulation.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has revised the "Radio Transmitting Equipment Type Approval Certificate Form" and the "Radio Transmitting Equipment Type Approval Code Coding Rules" to improve the Radio Transmission Equipment Type Approval Certificate style and the CMIIT ID Codification Rules. These revised regulations will take effect on 12 December 2023, and will replace previous regulations on the management and format of radio transmitting equipment type approval.

The deadline for applying for SRRC using the old standards MIIT [2002], 353, MIIT [2002] 277, and MIIT [2012] 620 for 2.4GHz, 5.1GHz, and 5.8GHz is October 15, 2023. From October 15, 2023, new and renewal applications for devices with 2.4/5.1/5.8GHz frequency bands must meet the new standard MIIT [2021] 129.
