Updated RLAN instructions have now been published by TRC in Jordan.

Following completion of public consultation, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Jordan have published a formal update to the RLAN instructions.

Main changes are as follows:
1. 5250-5350MHz frequency band is now open for indoor and outdoor use, with 23 dBm max EIRP.
2. 5470-5725MHz frequency band is now open for indoor use only, with 30 dBm max EIRP.
3. 5925-6425 (WIFI 6E)  frequency band is now open for:
- portable devices (indoor and outdoor), with max EIRP 25mW (14 dBm).
- indoor use only, with max EIRP, 200 mW (23 dBm).
4. 57 – 71 GHz frequency band is now open, with 40 dBm max EIRP and Tx power not exceeding 27 dBm.
