On April 22, 2025, the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) launched the second round of public consultation on the “Spectrum Plan for the Accommodation of Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN),” which will remain open until May 20, 2025.

This plan outlines how the 2 GHz band spectrum will be allocated and regulated for NTN operators, such as satellites and aerial platforms, enabling the extension of telecommunications coverage to remote or airborne areas.
