IMDA extend IMDA TS RG-SEC deadline for residential gateways

The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Singapore have extended the deadline for compliance with IMDA TS RG-SEC for residential gateways to 1st May 2022, from the earlier deadline of 1st October 2021.

The extension is due to requests from industry and in-country residential gateway vendors. By way of reminder, IMDA TS RG-SEC concerns security requirements for residential gateways and IoT devices installed within consumers' homes and was published on 1st October 2021.
