Following the Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA) publication of new Short Range Device regulation 'Guidelines 008/G/R/SM-ICT/RURA/2019', the new SRD regulations have officially come into force following a 3 month transition period.
The new guidelines state the technical parameters for the operation of SRD's in Rwanda, including permitted frequency bands, power outputs, channel spacing and relevant standards.
