MTC publishes new regulation to promote the deployment of 5G

The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC) has published Supreme Decree No. 004-2025-MTC, which regulates the deployment of public telecommunications services using fifth-generation (5G) or higher technology. This regulation follows a public consultation that allowed the participation of various stakeholders.

The regulation establishes investment commitments for operators seeking access to the radio spectrum, fostering a favorable environment for the growth of the sector.
