PNG NICTA Public Consultation on 2025 Consumer Protection Rule

PNG NICTA has launched a 2nd round of public consultation on the draft Consumer Protection Rule Amendment 2025.

Important Notes:
- The amendment aims to update how consumer protection is regulated in the ICT sector in PNG, likely addressing evolving technology, digital services, and data‑related issues.
- It provides an opportunity for telecom operators, service providers, and other stakeholders to influence the rules that will affect service delivery, complaints management, and possibly consumer rights in the digital space.

All written comments should be submitted by 26th November 2025.
