ASEP seeks public comments regarding a procedural change for homologation applications

Panamanian Regulator ASEP has opened a public consultation in order to receive comments and feedback regarding a change to the 'Procedure for Homologation of Wireless Devices' that was adopted via  'Resolución AN No. 8105-Telco de 26 de noviembre de 2014'

The proposed change seek to streamline the initial technical evaluation of applications and reduce the number of rejected applications by way of a requirement that applications could only be submitted 'with the support of a technical representative, who must be a qualified wireless telecommunications  or radio communications engineer'.

Comments can be submitted in person or sent via email to - modificahomologacion@asep.gob.pa - until 4pm on the 5th of July
