Oman’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has amended rules for the registration and use of radio frequencies and devices.
The changes aim to improve the efficient use of radio spectrum, simplify licensing procedures, support new technologies and encourage investment in the telecommunications sector.
The regulation applies to Class I licensees providing satellite broadband services, Class III licensees, and holders of aircraft and ship station licences.
