TRC has issued a public consultation on draft of Type Approval Regulation

Jordan Telecommunications Regulation Commission (TRC) has announced a draft of “Amended Instructions of the Conditions and Procedures for Obtaining Type Approval of Telecommunication Equipment and Regulating their Entry into the Kingdom”.

The key changes of the type approval process are:
  • Certificate validity is reduced to 1 year instead of 3 years.
  • Authorization for research & innovation validity is now 6 months instead of 1 year.
  • Updated Type Approval Application Form
