SDPPI have issued a public letter announcing measures being taken at the SDPPI lab in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The public letter Plt.BBPPT/BBPPT.31/KOMINFO/03/2020 introduces a number of measures, including a stop to all physical testing of equipment for SDPPI approval. All equipment with ongoing testing for SDPPI approval has now been postponed. Manufacturers are still able to apply for approval via the paperwork only approach, provided that the test reports are issued by an SDPPI-accredited laboratory.

Other measures include home working for SDPPI staff and the cancellation of public events and activities of SDPPI staff.

We are expecting to see other similar measures worldwide and will keep everyone updated as we see measures introduced.
