The Indonesian KOMINFO (Ministry of Communications and Informatics) has announced that the period of validity of the SDPPI Director General Decree Number 109 of 2024 regarding the Determination of Foreign Test Centres for the purpose of Certification of Telecommunications Equipment and/or Telecommunications Devices has ended on 31 December 2024.

In this connection, the following should be taken into account:

1. that Test Reports issued as of 1 January 2025 by SDPPI accredited foreign test centres cannot currently be used for the certification process. This will apply until a new decree regulating them is issued.

2. That Test Reports issued before 1 January 2025 by SDPPI accredited foreign test centres have a transition period in the PM KOMINFO (Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Informatics) Number 5 of 2024, which defines that they can still be used for the certification process for the next 6 months, starting from 1 January 2025. After this grace period -1 July 2025-, these cannot be used for certification processes either, until a new decree regulating them is issued.
