TEC Extends Generic Exemptions for Multiple Equipment Types Under MTCTE Until December 2025

The India Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) published a Notification on June 26, 2025, announcing an extension on the generic exemption from submission of test reports for the products listed below under MTCTE until December 31, 2025, or further notice. 

The document provides a comprehensive table of exempted parameters/interfaces for various ERs, including: 
  •  - Mobile Radio Trunking System
  • - Repeater for Cellular Network
  • - Precision Timing Protocol Grand Master Equipment
  • - VHF UHF Radio System Equipment
  • - PTP PMP Microwave Fixed Radio Systems
  • - ADSLx
  • - VDSLx
  • - Optical Fiber (Single Mode)
  • - Optical Fiber (Cable)
  • - HF Radio System
  • - GSO VSAT/GSO User Terminal
  • - NGSO Terminal/NGSO Integrated Gateway

The exemptions are valid until 31.12.2025 or until further orders, and the document instructs uploading this information on the MTCTE Portal.

CONATEL, through the SIGESTEL platform, has updated the validity framework for type approval certificates in Venezuela.
