Acceptance of ILAC Test Reports under MTCTE-regulation till 31st December 2025

The Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), under the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India, has issued a notification regarding the acceptance of test reports under MTCTE regulation. 
As per Notification No. 5-2/2024-TC/TEC dated 01.01.2025, ILAC-accredited test reports from laboratories located in non-border sharing countries are acceptable for technical parameters of products notified under MTCTE till 31.12.2025. These reports must be issued by labs accredited with ILAC MRA Mark and must not be older than two years from the date of submission on the MTCTE portal.
The following equipment categories and variants are covered:
1. Base Station for Cellular Network
  • - Active Antenna System-OTA
  • - Base Station 5G NR Type 1-O
  • - Base Station 5G NR Type 2-O
  • - Base Station 5G NR Type 1-H
  • - BTS for GSM
  • - Hybrid Active Antenna System
2. SIM – All variants
3. VHF UHF Radio Equipment System – All variants
4. E-band Fixed Radio Relay Systems – All variants
This notification is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
