Retirement of 2G and 3G Mobile Telecommunications Networks

 This draft decision proposes the phased discontinuation of mobile telecommunications technologies in the Kingdom of Eswatini, with 2G (second generation) services to be retired by 31 December 2026, and 3G (third generation) services to be phased out by 31 December 2028.  As a result, the importation and type approval of 2G-only and 3G-only devices in Eswatini is proposed to be banned by 31 December 2024.
