On 16th of November 2021, public consultation on projects for amendments to Technical Regulation of the Customs Union 004/2011 "On safety of low-voltage equipment" and TR CU 020/2011 "On the electromagnetic compatibility of technical devices" have been started by the Eurasian Economic Commission Council.

There are multiple substantial changes proposed in both projects, amongst which is an option to use the test reports, certificates and other documents issued by international certification systems if they are made in accordance with the established conditions.

With this in mind, all interested parties are strongly invited to submit their comment and further proposals for each change introduced if in favour, which could ease certification process significantly.

For more details on all of the changes proposed in both projects or if you wish Eleos help in filing comments, please get in touch.

Public discussion of both projects will end on 30th January 2022.
