Ivorian regulator, L’Autorité de Régulation des Télécommunications/TIC de Côte d’Ivoire (ARTCI), have advised stricter adherence to ARTCI regulations mandating that one as-sold sample should now be provided for all type approval applications, in line with Article 9 of the ARTCI regulations and Article 7 of annexure IV of the type approval form.

Previously, it was possible to obtain type approval for certain equipment without the provision of a sample.

The change in approach to sample requirements is enforced immediately.
