aprobado.tech: Automated Compliance for Chile’s Resolution 737

The regulatory framework for Short Range Devices (SRDs) in Chile is undergoing a significant shift. Under SUBTEL Resolution 737 (amended by Resolution 2219), the traditional Type Approval certification process for many low-power devices is being replaced by a digital declaration system.

Effective February 22, 2026, manufacturers must comply with new labeling standards. Physical product markings will be replaced or supplemented by a mandatory QR Code that links to a digital compliance booklet.

The Technical Requirement To comply with the new resolution, the QR code on every product unit must direct users to a dedicated webpage. This page is not a standard marketing URL; it must meet specific regulatory criteria:

  • Language: Content must be entirely in Spanish.
  • Availability: The page must remain live and accessible for the duration of the product's lifecycle in the Chilean market.
  • Content: It must display specific technical parameters (frequency, power), declarations of conformity, and contact details for the local importer or representative.

Automating the Process with aprobado.tech To support manufacturers in meeting these requirements without significant web development overhead, Eleos Compliance has developed aprobado.tech.  (Approved Technology)

This platform serves as a centralized compliance repository designed specifically for the Chilean market. It streamlines the workflow by allowing users to input technical device data and automatically generating the required output:

  1. Hosted Landing Pages: Secure, mobile-responsive pages that adhere to SUBTEL’s content and formatting requirements.
  2. Instant QR Codes: Downloadable assets ready for immediate integration into packaging artwork.
  3. Local Representation: The platform integrates the legally required "Local Representative" details directly onto the digital label.

Integration with Local Representation A key component of Resolution 737 is the liability structure. The digital booklet must list a valid Local Representative or Importer within Chile. aprobado.tech is designed to work in tandem with our representation services, ensuring that the legal entity listed on the digital label is accurate and valid.

By centralizing these requirements, aprobado.tech provides a verifiable, scalable method for manufacturers to transition to the new digital regime ahead of the 2026 enforcement deadline.
