On January 11, 2023, the Bhutan InfoComm and Media Authority (BICMA) launched its Online Licensing System. This system allows customers to access BICMA services online through the Citizen service portal (https://www.citizenservices.gov.bt/).

The goal of this system is to improve public service delivery and reduce burden and cost for customers. By implementing this online system, it provides greater convenience and speed in the processing of necessary procedures.

BICMA hopes to provide a faster and more efficient process with easier submission and tracking of applications for users of the system.
