ENACOM release new labelling requirements

On 12th August 2020, Argentine Regulator – Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones (ENACOM) – released Resolución 854/2020, introducing changes to labelling requirements.

Resolución 854/2020 comes into effect immediately however manufacturers have 2 years to update labels on products already shipping into Argentina.

Changes include:
- RAMATEL logo replaces CNC logo
- Approval ID numbers will remain the same provided that renewal applications are submitted ahead of certificate expiry
- E-labelling is permitted in conjunction with labelling on the product packaging and user manual
