The National Communications Entity (ENACOM) of Argentina has allocated the frequency band between 3300 and 3600 MHz for the deployment of 5G systems in the country.

This band will be used for primary category terrestrial mobile service and will be regulated by the General Regulation for the Reliable and Intelligent Telecommunications Service. This service is a wireless fixed and mobile telecommunications service that supports enhanced mobile broadband applications, high reliability and low latency communications, and massive machine-type communications, among others.

ENACOM has also approved new projects for Non-Refundable Contributions (ANR) from the Universal Service Trust Fund (FFSU) for the expansion of connectivity in various locations in Argentina.

The allocation of frequency bands and regulatory measures for 5G technology in Argentina are important steps in the deployment of this technology in the country.
