CITC open public consultation on new spectrum for WLAN in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia’s Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), has issued a public consultation on “Radio Spectrum Allocation and Use Regulation for WLAN Applications”. 

The document proposes updates to the spectrum allocation and technical requirements for WLAN frequency bands in Saudi Arabia, including new spectrum for WiFi 6E (5,925 to 7,125 MHz) and an extension of the 60GHz band (now 57 to 71 GHz).

Interested parties should submit feedback via email to spectrum.strategy@citc.gov.sa, by 8th July 2021
