EMC requirements for WWAN Terminals

The Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam recently issued Circular No 10/2019/TT-BTTT (04 October 2019) on National Technical Regulation.

Introducing Vietnamese Standard QCVN 86:2019BTTTT (ETSI equivalent of ETSI EN 301 489-52 V1.1.0 (2016-11) on Electromagnetic compatibility for Mobile terminal and ancillary equipment of digital cellular telecommunication systems.

QCVN 86:2019/BTTTT replaces QCVN 86:2015/BTTTT as the EMC requirement for GSM terminal equipment and replaces QCVN 18:2014/BTTTT as the EMC requirement for WCDMA and LTE terminals.

This circular enters in effect from 01 July 2020.
