Implementation of RoHS regulations in Uzbekistan

On 16 August 2025 the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan published Resolution No. 517, approving a new Technical Regulation on the Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in electrical and radio-electronic products. This regulation will come into force on 17 February 2026. 
Scope of RoHS regulation includes: 

  • Household white goods
  • IT equipment
  • Voice/video equipment
  • Lighting products
  • Power supplies etc 

All existing certificates issued before the regulation’s effective date will remain valid until their expiration.
