The Office of The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand issued TS 1035-2562 for wireless equipment in the 2.4 / 5 GHz band, replacing NTC TS 1012-2551.

A summary of changes can be seen below:

  • NBTC TS 1035-2562 specifies the revisions of EN test standards (e.g. EN300 328 V2.1.1, EN301 893 V2.1.1., EN302 502 V2.1.1, ETSI TS 136104/ETSI TS 136101 v13.2.0) required to support type approval applications.
  • For radio equipment supporting 5.725-5.850GHz, test reports to EN 300 440 will no longer be accepted. Test reports submitted to support a type approval application must be to standards EN302 502, FCC 15.247 or FCC 15.407.
  • Electrical safety standard IEC 62368-1 is now accepted by NBTC, along with TIS1561-2556.

The updates contained in TS 1035-2562 do not effect products previously type approved in Thailand.
