TELCOR announces the allocation of the 3.5 GHz Band for 5G Services.

The Nicaraguan regulator, Instituto Nicaragüense de Telecomunicaciones y Correos (TELCOR) has started the planning process in order to establish a national strategy and its roadmap to implement and take advantage of the benefits of 5G technology.

Applying this initiative the regulator has announced a decision allocating 3.5 GHz band for 5G services.

This is the TELCOR's first step to reevaluate a strategy to reserve the 3300-3400, 3400-3600, and 3600-3700 MHz bands for 5G mobile networks.
