Potential Regulatory Processing Delays at NTA

28-MAY-25

The National Telecommunications Authority (NTA) is taking more time than usual in processing applications, impacting various industry projects. Officials are taking longer than usual to make decisions, and there is a noticeable reluctance to engage in key regulatory tasks. This situation has led to uncertainty, slowing down progress across multiple initiatives.
Employees have been slow to approve new projects, leading to delays in applications. For the past year, the Authority has mainly handled routine tasks, with no new programs introduced, affecting overall efficiency. The challenges faced by the Authority’s management have disrupted day-to-day operations, further complicating decision-making.
