SDPPI launch public consultation for short-range devices

Indonesian regulator, Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology (SDPPI), have launched a public consultation on new regulation draft of short range device telecommunication equipment.

The publication of PERMEN KOMINFO NO 2 TAHUN 2023 introduces new technologies such as UWB (ultra-wide band). Once regulation becomes effective, this will replace the current PERDIRJEN SDPPI NO 161 TAHUN 2019 regulation governing short range devices.
