22-MAY-25

The new ministerial order, dated April 17, 2025, sets the conditions for the approval and use of radio and terminals equipment.  Among the key changes, applicants for type approval must now be entities authorized by the ARCT, and approved equipment must bear the ARCT label, though this latter requirement will not be enforced immediately.  To further protect consumers, the new regulations also emphasize measures aimed at combating counterfeit, low-quality, altered, and stolen equipment.
