A broad spectrum of Short Range Devices (SRDs) has been considered to accommodate the growing diversity of applications and rapid technological advancements in the field. Notably, the 6 GHz band has now been officially opened for Wi-Fi 6E, and specific frequency ranges have been designated for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) applications. There is also a noticeable increase in the adoption of various emerging technologies, which existence and usage are becoming increasingly pervasive across all SRDs categories.
It is important to note that all SRDs must receive ARCEP type approval prior to importation and deployment within Burkina Faso. For detailed guidance and support, kindly contact Eleos Compliance.
