The ENACOM (Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones) of Argentina published Resolution 1134/2023 on August 18, 2023, expanding to the entire frequency band between 76 GHz and 81 GHz the operation of Level Probing Radars (LPR) -both in open and closed containers-, which must also comply with the definitions and technical requirements contained in IF-2023-33362595-APN-DNPYC#ENACOM. These equipment models must also be registered in the Registro de Actividades y Materiales de Telecomunicaciones (RAMATEL).
This resolution also approves the Technical Standard ENACOM-Q2-64.02 V22.1 for LPRs, identified as IF-2022-72242589-APN-SNYE#ENACOM in the GENERADOR ELECTRÓNICO DE DOCUMENTOS OFICIALES.
In addition, this resolution establishes that interested parties may conditionally submit the "Declaration of Conformity (DoC)" identified as IF-2022-72243980-APN-SNYE#ENACOM in the GENERADOR ELECTRÓNICO DE DOCUMENTOS OFICIALES, which is approved, until at least one Accredited Laboratory is qualified to perform tests based on the Technical Standard approved. For these purposes, foreign reports will be accepted as long as they comply with the limits established in the Technical Standard ENACOM-Q2-64.02 V22.1.
