This resolution from the ENACOM (Ente Nacional de Comunicaciones) serves to modify the implementation timelines for the previously established Registry of Telecommunications Activities and Materials (RAMATEL).

**Scope**

The document applies to the regulatory framework governing the homologation and certification of telecommunications equipment and audiovisual communication services. It specifically addresses the transition from legacy regulations to the new RAMATEL procedure.

**Key Technical Requirements and Adjustments**

* **Postponement of Implementation:** The entry into force of the RAMATEL regulation is postponed until **December 1, 2026**.

* **Interim Procedures:** Until the new effective date, inscriptions in the RAMATEL continue to be processed in accordance with the prior Resolution N° 729/80 of the former Secretariat of State for Communications and its concordant norms.

* **Validity and Adaptation:** Registrations made under the interim period remain valid for a term of 3 years. Upon expiration, these registrations must be adapted to the new RAMATEL regulation; otherwise, they will be automatically cancelled.

* **Repeal of Legacy Norms:** A specified list of legacy resolutions (including N° 763/78, 729/80, 4528/81, and others, as well as N° 5424/19) is repealed effective December 1, 2026.

* **Rationale:** The extension was granted due to findings by the National Directorate of Radio Spectrum Engineering and Information and Communications Technology Services, which determined that the necessary conditions for a proper and efficient execution of the new procedure were not yet met within the original deadlines.
