This addendum, issued by the Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC) of India, expands the list of technical parameters and interfaces exempted from the mandatory submission of test reports under the Mandatory Testing and Certification of Telecom Equipment (MTCTE) regime. The regulation aims to streamline the certification process for advanced radio and network equipment by allowing self-declaration in lieu of formal test reports for specific complex parameters.
The regulation grants a generic exemption from the submission of test reports for the following products and parameters until June 30, 2026, or until further notice:

This document acts as an Addendum to the previous exemption notification issued via letter of even number dated December 29, 2025, titled "Exemption pertaining to various test parameters/ Interfaces of ERs." It supplements the existing list of exemptions with the 5G NR, Hybrid Active Antenna, and 128G Fibre Channel parameters mentioned above.
