The Regulatory Authority of Bermuda (RA) has granted type approval for radio apparatus devices operating solely on Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi frequencies as of February 14th, 2025. Individual applications for type approval of Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi only devices are no longer required, provided they comply with specified technical and regulatory standards.

Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Exemptions in Bermuda
As of February 14th, 2025, the Regulatory Authority of Bermuda (RA) has granted type approval for radio apparatus devices operating solely on Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi frequencies, within specified frequency ranges and power limits.
Individual applications for type approval of Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi only devices are no longer required.
Manufacturers and importers must ensure devices comply with technical and regulatory standards established by:

Canadian Standards Association International (ISED)
United Kingdom/European Union (ETSI)
