By this Act, the National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM) which has been regulating the electronic communications matters is now known as the National Communications Authority (NatCA) and provided with the required organisational structures and powers to fully enforce compliance related regulation of the industry

Sierra Leone’s regulator NATCOM have introduced labelling requirements for type approved equipment, as per Electronic Communications Type Approval Regulations 2020.
